Looking for Arborea?
It’s active.
A remote island.
A mineral that shouldn’t exist.
An experiment that didn’t stop.
Work in progress.

Isabel
Born Izabela Zurowicz on Sept 30th 1987.
When the Wall fell, she lost everything.
The orphan is later known as Irrabel on Arborea, and Anubel in the Astral planes.
Raised at Cinder Abbey by the Frequencists,
she was later sent to face hell.
Only steel comes back intact.
Now an astral agent moving through fractured realities, she infiltrates Atargate Robotics to investigate and contain what should have remained sacred.
She finds it stripped of restraint and handed to the Wellerman Mining Corps.
Dividends were promised.
Now they’re due.

Manifestations
Trained Frequencists project their Manifestations into the Echo Dimensions.
They act as observers and executors in those pocket universes where the Astral medium fractures and reality distorts.
When Manifestations crossed, they were first welcomed as emissaries of the gods.
The rupture began when the medium was forced to answer: The occult. Dark rituals.
The Frequencist Order came into being to seal that access as a lid.
Centuries passed. At the turn of the millennium, Arborea was discovered.
Containment stopped being enough.

Dr Hexane
Born Anja Hexanović. The prodigy orphan watched her world burn during the Yugo wars at only seven, then taken in by Cinder Abbey where she grew up alongside Isabel.
Never invited to take the vows, she chose another path. If doctrine wouldn’t open the Astral plane, science would force it.
Backed by Father Erras, she rose fast inside Atargate Robotics. Now leading Erradium research, she drives the Advanced Formula.
Not to pray to the Astral plane, but to tear it open, hold it steady, and keep going past the point most would stop.
Whether that makes her dangerous or necessary is no longer her concern.

Sister Ada
Drifter. Drug addict. Thief.
After hitting the darkest place, she found the light and took the vows to keep it from going out.
Lagging behind in the astral ways, she taught the orphanage girls what doctrine never covers: how to take a hit, stand back up, hit back harder and survive the world from the wrong side of the mirror.
With Isabel and Anja at Cinder Abbey, she was dealt daughters instead of forgiveness.
And she played the hand.

Father Erras
An influential Frequencist, and necessary bridge between doctrine and industry.
The Order was built on the Horizon and the Astral medium. They understood balance.Â
What they underestimated was leverage.
And they did not expect Arborea.
Beneath the island lay a concentration of a mineral long considered theoretical.
Erras recognized its potential and named it Erradium, as devotion crossed into claim.
Erradium opened the door.
Hidden agendas kicked it wide open.
Everything after crossed the redline.
Doctrine failed. Appetite didn’t.

Bethany
As Dr. Hexane’s most trusted assistant, she learned every limit, then waited for the moment to cross them.
What lies Below the Horizon is not chaos to her. It’s a threshold.
With the Wellerman Mining Corps complicit, she opens it slowly. Carefully.
To hear it respond.
Not to understand.
Not to contain.
To make it scream... and comply.
Her plan is already in motion.
When it surfaces, intent no longer matters.
